Support for those pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disability at St Mary's

  • We are an inclusive school and we value the abilities and achievements of all of our pupils.  

  • We are all committed to providing the best possible environment for learning for each child within our school community, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and believe that all learners can succeed with appropriate care, guidance and support. 

  • These values are firmly rooted in our Christian ethos. 

 

Mr C Frankish is the Assistant Headteacher - Inclusion and SENCo.

Mrs J Kapur and Mrs L Wright are the governors with responsibility for SEND and inclusion.  They meet at least termly with the SENCo to discuss issues and provide challenge and support.

Disabled Access

 

St Mary's CE Primary school has provisions in place for those with disabilities and looks to make your visit as comfortable as possible.  So that we can meet your needs, please contact us in advance informing us of any additional support you may require. 

 

We do have a disabled parking bay inside the school gates, however these gates are closed during the school day to keep the children safe.  Should you require access please contact the school office and we will arrange for them to be opened for you.
