Very Able Children

St Mary’s recognises that special provision needs to be made for children identified as being

particularly able. These pupils are identified by class teachers each year.

A register of more able pupils is maintained and provision for those pupils is usually either

enrichment of their current work, extension activities or through specially organised activities.
