Every month Miss Newton sets an Art Challenge which is open to every child in the school. At the end of the month a winner is chosen, who receives a certificate and prize.
June's Art Challenge
This month's art challenge, is a geography themed piece of art. We would like you to create a piece of art to represent something of your choice within our local area such as our school, the Westwood, church, town etc. As always please bring your artwork clearly labelled with your name and class to Miss Marshall by Wednesday 5th July.

April's Winner
Thank you for all of the entries into the April Art Challenge. It has been lovely to see all of the different ways in which you have all interpreted the theme 'new life'. Our April winner was a girl in 4B, who created a 3D moving chick using a range of different textures.
May's Winner
Thank you to all of the children who entered our May Art Challenge, there were some fantastic entries. A huge congratulations to a child in Year 4 for their fantastic entry of a crown made out of recycled bottle tops.
